Urban Strides is a fantastic dance company that worked with the Young Voices choir and are coming to do a workshop with KS2 children on 21st March. We are requesting a voluntary contribution of £4 per child to cover the cost of the workshop. Our school is very lucky as, due to the popularity of Urban Strides, they are not able to visit many schools. 

In an Urban Strides workshop, children will learn the foundations of a specific Street Dance style. They will understand what Street Dance is and the importance of its history. They will learn a choreographed piece based on the building blocks they have set out and have an opportunity to unleash their own creativity.

Children will enjoy the electric and inclusive Urban Strides atmosphere. So, no matter how they walk into the session, they leave feeling more empowered, confident, and happy than when they started. Instructors use their role model status to reinforce your school’s ethos as well as projecting positive messages of resilience, focus, and commitment throughout the workshop.
