PTA About Us

Bishop’s Tachbrook School PTA is a relaxed and sociable group of parents and staff.  We coordinate a wide range of fund-raising events that bring all parts of the school community together to raise funds for things that cannot be covered by the school’s budget.  In doing so, we aim to enrich children’s education and provide lasting memories for children and families during the primary school years.

Welcome to the new school year.

The PTA has planned a full calendar of fun fundraising events this year. Working together with the staff, we have a list of items the PTA would like to purchase with money raised including:

  • New SMART TVs for all classes (so far we have bought for Y3, Y4 and Y6)
  • Upgrades for all the computers to increase the speed of their operating systems

Previous PTA fundraising has been spent on:

  • Hand chimes for KS2
  • Binoculars for use in Science lessons and the Y5 Space Camp
  • Outdoor play equipment for Reception
  • Creation of two all weather areas for role play, developing curiosity and storytelling for EYFS and KS1

An amount of money was reinvested into the PTA with the purchase of a new shed plus storage and a gazebo.

 How to get involved

The PTA is always looking for more help and support and there are many ways you can get involved.  Every bit of help makes a difference, so if you would like to join the committee, volunteer for a single event, or simply have an idea, a skill or a useful contact, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.

 Other ways to contribute

The Giving Machine is a unique registered charity that enables you to generate sales commission with online purchases.  Simply register, select our school and every time you shop, we receive a donation. There are over 1,500 retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s and Next.

Stikins makes brilliant sticky name labels for clothes, shoes, water bottles. Use this code and we get a commission - 2063.

In the clothes container outside the front of the school, you can deposit all unwanted clothes, paired shoes, belts, toys and our school gets paid by weight for all contributions.
