Year 5 Space Centre Trip

Year 5 visited the Space Centre in Leicester. To begin the trip they shared their knowledge with one of the experts at the Space Centre and he was so impressed with how much they knew, and worked hard to answer their really interesting questions. The children all made a moon wheel to help them to remember the different phases of the moon. Around the museum it was such a pleasure to see the children busy finding out as much as they could about space from the different interactive displays. They truly showed ‘Inquire’ throughout the day. Their day ended in the Planetarium where they were transported into space before travelling back home.
